HALLS OF RESIDENCE
Visitors booking into these Halls should remember to indicate that they wish to take a place provisionally reserved for BSS. All visitors should remember that the three Halls are equipped for STUDENT usage. They are cheap and convenient but the furnishings of their private rooms are functional rather than elegant.

College Hall is located in Malet Street, just across the road from the south side of the college. It has been completely refurbished for the current year and now offers a large number of en suite single study bedrooms, and a small number of double ones, at an attractive rate for the area. It provides breakfast for the rates quoted and offers options for dinner. Its facilities include TV rooms, a launderette, a kitchenette on most floors and a private courtyard garden.

Connaught Hall is located on the west side of Tavistock Square, overlooking the
gardens, and only two or three minutes walk from the History Department. Most of its
rooms are single ones. All of them have wash basins. The Hall provides a full English
breakfast for the price quoted and offers an evening meal which may be booked (and
paid for) on a daily basis. There are TV rooms, a launderette and a peaceful enclosed
garden.

Passfield Hall comprises ten late-Georgian houses, configured in three blocks
surrounding a walled garden. It stands within yards of Gordon Square Gardens
and barely a stone’s throw from the History Department. It has been substantially
refurbished in recent years. All the rooms have wash basins and a telephone, and the
Hall provides full English and Continental breakfast for the price quoted. It also offers
a TV room, a bar, a games room, a launderette and kitchenette facilities.
